The Crown Season 4 trailer has been released, and will feature a first look at Princess Diana.

The synopsis of the new season reads: “As the 1970s are drawing to a close, Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) and her family find themselves preoccupied with safeguarding the line of succession by securing an appropriate bride for Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor), who is still unmarried at 30. While Charles’ romance with a young Lady Diana Spencer (Emma Corrin) provides a much-needed fairytale to unite the British people, as the transformation from teenager to Princess of Wales takes place, it is anything but a fairytale for Diana.”

The new season also stars Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, and Gillian Anderson as Margaret Thatcher. Season 4 will feature 10 episodes, ranging from the time period between 1979 to 1990, and will debut on Netflix on November 15.

Days of Our Lives is halting production for two weeks after a crew member tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The positive COVID-19 test was discovered as part of the show’s testing protocol and the production team member who tested positive is now in isolation for 14 days, according to Deadline

Now in the midst of its 56th season, the daytime soap opera will resume taping following the two-week production halt on Oct. 26, with new episodes airing as planned. When Days of Our Lives stopped filming at the height of the pandemic earlier this year, the show had enough episodes already filmed to air through October. This allowed them to resume production on Sept. 1.

BTS has marked its second No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart with the remix for “Savage Love (Laxed-Siren Beat),” a collaboration with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo.  BTS’s hit single “Dynamite” remained in the No. 2 position.

“Savage Love” became popular on the video platform TikTok after Jason Derulo added lyrics on top of the song “Laxed” produced by Jawsh 685. “Savage Love” ranked eighth on the Hot 100 chart last week. In the remixed version released on Oct. 2, BTS added the chorus and rap that includes Korean lyrics.

“Savage Love” was streamed 16 million times and downloaded 76,000 times, up 814 percent compared to the previous week, during Oct. 2 to 8 in the United States. Billboard said. “So BTS is now officially listed on the Hot 100 as a billed act on the song for the first time.”

Keira Knightley Exits Apple TV+’s ‘The Essex Serpent’ Due To Personal Family Issues

tmpb27b54e3-d6db-4921-b0e0-8ca476a2ddb6-jpg

35-year-old Keira Knightley will no longer be starring in Apple TV+’s The Essex Serpent. The actor’s rep said in a statement that Knightley has exited the streaming service’s original series “due to family reasons” amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The statement reads, “Keira had to unfortunately pull out of The Essex Serpent due to family reasons. As the COVID cases increase in the U.K. and additional lockdown and restriction rules are potentially being imposed, with so many unknowns, there wasn’t a comfortable scenario for Keira that could be put in place for an extended period of child care required for the 4.5-month production.” Knightley is married to husband James Righton, with whom she shares daughters Delilah, 1, and Edie, 5.

It was reported in August that Knightley would star in and executive-produce the project, in which she was set to play Cora Seaborne. The series is an adaptation based on Sarah Perry’s 2017 novel of the same name. According to its description, the book is set in the late 19-century England and follows Cora, whose “brilliant, domineering husband dies,”When he passes, “she steps into her new life as a widow with as much relief as sadness: her marriage was not a happy one. Wed at nineteen, this woman of exceptional intelligence and curiosity was ill-suited for the role of society wife. Seeking refuge in fresh air and open space in the wake of the funeral, Cora leaves London for a visit to coastal Essex, accompanied by her inquisitive and obsessive eleven-year old son, Francis, and the boy’s nanny, Martha, her fiercely protective friend.”

Joshua Jackson Replaces Jamie Dornan in Peacock Network’s ‘Dr. Death’ Series

tmpc1dd83f0-e7df-4953-988f-cd672676ca3f-jpg

Joshua Jackson has joined Peacock’s Dr. Death series in the title role.  Actor Jamie Dornan had originally been cast as Dr. Christopher Duntsch in the series based on the hit Wondery podcast of the same name, but due to production delays caused by the pandemic, Dornan can no longer make the filming requirements work for his schedule and NBCUniversal had to recast the role. Jackson was announced as the new star of Dr. Death on Monday.

Production of Dr. Death is scheduled to begin this fall with a cast that also includes Alec Baldwin and Christian Slater. The original podcast told of Dr. Duntsch, a spinal surgeon who claimed to be the best in Dallas but whose patients began to experience severe and sometimes fatal complications from his surgeries. Jackson’s Dr. Duntsch on the show is a rising star in the Dallas medical community building a neurosurgery practice. When his victims start to pile up, neurosurgeon Robert Henderson (Baldwin) and vascular surgeon Randall Kirby (Slater) set out to stop him.

Gal Gadot To Star As Cleopatra In Film From ‘Wonder Woman’ Director Patty Jenkins

tmp26f51745-6989-4e83-9def-f7ccd2f1dd0d-jpg

“Wonder Woman” star Gal Gadot and director Patty Jenkins will bring Cleopatra back to the big screen once again. The two have teamed up with“Alexander” and “Shutter Island” writter Laeta Kalogridis to script the project. The biopic is apparently the brainchild of Gadot and her production company Pilot Wave. The project is reportedly on an “accelerated timetable” as studios try to recover from the hits that the film industry has taken due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Cleopatra was most famously played on screen by Elizabeth Taylor in Joseph L. Mankiewicz’s 1963 film of the same name. The movie won a slew of Academy Awards for its lavish production design and cinematography.

Gadot and Jenkins also still have to wait for the release for the much-delayed “Wonder Woman” sequel.  “Wonder Woman 1984” will hit theaters on Christmas, after originally being scheduled for June 5 before moving to Aug. 14 and then Oct. 2.
