Megan Thee Stallion has returned, reviving her alter-ego “Tina Snow” with new single and video for ‘Thot Sh*t’. The video, directed by Aube Perrie, appears to reference Republican senator James P. Bradley, who criticized ‘WAP’, Meg’s collaboration with Cardi B, last year. In the announcement of ‘Thot Sh*t’, a press release said the new track “celebrates women unapologetically enjoying themselves, doing whatever they want, whenever they want, regardless of what the critics have to say.”

Megan’s alter-ego ‘Tina Snow’ was also the title of Stallion’s second EP, which was released in 2018. Megan has explained the character was “the side of me that’s a little more gangster”.

Following Chris Harrison’s departure as host of the “Bachelor” franchise, a number of celebrities have been announced to guest-host “Bachelor in Paradise” this summer. Tituss Burgess, Lance Bass and Lil Jon will join the previously announced David Spade as rotating guest-hosts in Mexico. Each star will serve as host throughout the summer and help previous “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants find love on one of summer’s hottest reality shows. “Bachelorette” alum Wells Adams will be returning to “BIP” along with his fiancé, “Modern Family” star Sarah Hyland. All four celebrities are said to be temporary hosts for the franchise.

No formal announcement has been made on who will replace Harrison for forthcoming seasons of the hit reality dating series. Currently, Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe are filling in as “mentors” for season 17 “Bachelorette”, Katie Thurston. The 49-year-old Harrison announced that he was exiting the show on Tuesday, writing on Instagram in part: “I’ve had a truly incredible run as host of The Bachelor franchise and now I’m excited to start a new chapter.”  Harrison’s departure comes months after defending controversial contestant Rachael Kirkconnell’s racially insensitive past.

Tones And I announces upcoming debut album “Welcome To The Madhouse”

tones-jpeg

Tones and I has announced her debut album Welcome to the Madhouse will arrive on July 16th. Tones and I said in a statement: “This album for me is very up and down and reflects the forever changing emotions in me. There are songs on the album that were written before ‘Dance Monkey,’ about not knowing if busking was right for me. There are songs about my good friend T passing away and not wanting to deal with those emotions. The ups and downs of life in lockdown and the mental challenges/struggles. Some songs make me laugh and some make me cry but there is no running theme or vibe to the album — the songs are unique to how I was feeling the day I wrote them.”   The Australian singer’s first official LP follows hit singles including “Dance Monkey” and “Fly Away,” with the latter appearing on the upcoming album.

Ahead of Welcome to the Madhouse’s release, Tones and I also shared the animated video for the new single “Cloudy Day,” which you can view at the link – here.

Welcome to the Madhouse is available to preorder now ahead of its July 16th arrival.  Tone and I is also planning to announce U.S. tour dates in support of the album in the coming weeks.
