‘Imagine Dragons Live in Vegas’ documentary to debut on Hulu

Hulu announced a forthcoming documentary Imagine Dragons Live in Vegas, a new film centering on the pop-rock band and the city that helped make them one of the biggest acts in the world.

Imagine Dragons Live in Vegas features concert footage and archival interviews. The band members — consisting of Dan Reynolds, Wayne Sermon, Ben McKee and Daniel Platzman —  will recount the highs and lows of the evolution of the group, from its origins to where they are now.

Imagine Dragons released their sixth studio album, Mercury — Acts 1 & 2, in July 2022, and are currently on tour support of the album through September. The band will end the tour with their homecoming concert at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Imagine Dragons Live in Vegas premieres July 14 on Hulu.

‘Thor,’ ‘Divergent’ actor Ray Stevenson dies at age 58

Veteran actor Ray Stevenson, whose film and TV credits include RRR, the Thor and Divergent films, and Star Wars animated series, died Sunday in Italy at the age of 58. No cause of death has been released.

Stevenson played the main antagonist Scott Buxton in SS Rajamouli’s global box office smash RRR and is known for playing Volstagg in Marvel’s Thor franchise and Othere in History’s Vikings. He also has voiced Gar Saxon in the animated Star Wars series The Clone Wars and Rebels and was set to join Rosario Dawson in Disney+’s upcoming ‘The Mandalorian’ spinoff Ahsoka as Baylan Skoll – one of the “main antagonists” in the show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Stevenson was most recently cast in historical drama 1242: Gateway to the West, taking over the lead role that originally was to be played by Kevin Spacey.

The actor was married to Ruth Gemmel from 1997-2005.  He is survived by two children, Sebastiano Derek Stevenson and Leonardo George Stevenson, whom he shares with partner Elisabetta Caraccia.

‘And Just Like That’ Season 2 coming to Max in June

‘And Just Like That’ will return for a second season on Max — formerly known as HBO Max — in June. The streaming service announced Season 2 of the comedy-drama series will debut June 22 with a two-episode premiere, with subsequent episodes to follow weekly on Thursdays.

And Just Like That is a sequel to the HBO series Sex and the City, which had a six-season run from 1998 to 2004. The sequel follows friends Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York Goldenblatt (Kristin Davis) as they navigate life in their 50s. Mario Cantone, David Eigenberg, Evan Handler, Sara Ramirez and Sarita Choudhury also star.

Olivia Rodrigo gives fans an update on second album

Olivia Rodrigo took to social media to update fans on the status of her second album.

The 20-year-old Rodrigo posted on Instagram celebrating the two year anniversary of her debut album, SOUR, featuring an array of photos and clips from 2021 when she was promoting the album. The caption read, “oh man oh man oh man. SOUR turns 2 years old today. no words could ever describe how much this album means to me and how insanely grateful I feel for every blessing it has brought into my life. the new stuff is so so so so so close to being done I pinky promise.”

Rodrigo released Sour in May 2021, featuring the hit singles “Drivers License,” “Deja Vu,” “Good 4 U,” “Traitor,” “Brutal” and six other songs. Following the release of Sour, Rodrigo was nominated for seven awards at the 2022 Grammy Awards and won Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Solo Performance.

Bad Bunny has teamed up with Frank Ocean and Lil Uzi Vert in the new music video for the song “Where She Goes“.

Directed by STILLZ and produced by WeOwnTheCity, the visual for “Where She Goes” features Bad Bunny driving in the California desert and quick cameos by Ocean, Lil Uzi Vert, Dominic Fike and Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho. The song reunites Bunny with his long-time collaborators, producer Mag and his engineer La Paciencia.

Paramount Pictures shared the trailer for the new film Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, posting on social media with the caption: “Watch the official trailer for #MissionImpossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, starring @TomCruise. Dead Reckoning Part One is the seventh installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise, which centers on Ethan Hunt (Cruise), an agent for the fictional Impossible Missions Force (IMF). In the new film, Ethan and his team take on “their most dangerous mission yet” — tracking down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity.  An official film synopsis reads: “With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, and dark forces from Ethan’s past closing in, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than his mission — not even the lives of those he cares about most.”

Hulu orders 20 additional episodes of ‘The Kardashians’

Hulu has ordered an additional 20 episodes of “The Kardashians,” extending the reality show’s multi-season deal with the streaming service. The unscripted series featuring Kris Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. Hulu tweeted: “You can never have enough. more seasons of #TheKardashians are coming soon.” 

The news comes ahead of the show’s Season 3 premiere, which will arrive on May 25th on Hulu, with new episodes streaming Thursdays. The upcoming season’s logline reads: “The cameras return as Kris, Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, Kendall and Kylie invite viewers back into their lives as they navigate motherhood, coparenting, and building their own empires. Their bond will be tested and tensions arise, but as a family they will stand together through the storm.”

The Kardashians was ordered straight to series at Hulu in December 2020, two months after the family announced they would end their E! series Keeping Up With the Kardashians after a 20 seasons and 14 years. KUWTK officially ended in 2021, with the The Kardashians launching in spring 2022. Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Khloé Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian also serve as executive producers.

Kim Petras announces debut album ‘Feed The Beast’

Kim Petras has announced her debut album Feed The Beast will drop June 23rd.

Kim was also just revealed as one of the featured cover models on this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue. Kim will also be appearing on the cover of OUT’s May/June Pride Issue, celebrating the diversity and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community.

In addition, Kim will be playing Governor’s Ball on June 9 in NYC, and on June 23, she will be celebrating the release of her album Feed The Beast on NBC’s TODAY, performing live on the TODAY Plaza as part of the Citi Concert Series.

Beyoncé drops ‘America Has a Problem’ remix with Kendrick Lamar

Beyoncé dropped a remix of her hit song “America Has a Problem” featuring Kendrick Lamar. The track “America Has a Problem” has soared in popularity due to the choreography that Beyoncé debuted when her “Renaissance” world tour kicked off, which then inspired a TikTok trend. Beyoncé’s tour is set to continue through September, hitting both Europe and North America.

Beyoncé and Lamar have previously collaborated on “Freedom” from 2016’s “Lemonade” and “Nile” from “The Lion King: The Gift.”

Ed Sheeran shares the Luke Combs duet version of “Life Goes On”

After they performed together at the Academy of Country Music Awards last week, pop star Ed Sheeran has officially released his duet version of “Life Goes On” with Luke Combs. You can take a look at the duo’s performance at the ACMs – here.

Sheeran told ACM host Garth Brooks that he’d first heard Luke’s music through a friend, and they ended up meeting in 2018, adding: “We’ve just been friends for years now, and it’s been great.” ‘Life Goes On”, inspired by the death of Ed’s best friend Jamal Edwards, original appeared on Ed’s new album, ‘Subtract’.  Said Luke: “I was super excited when Ed reached out to me. He sent this song and said he wanted to do it on the ACMs and then shortly after said he wanted to do a full-blown recorded version of it … I’ve been a fan of his for a long, long time. He’s an incredible singer and an incredible songwriter and we’ve been buddies for a couple years, so this is a dream come true.”

Ahead of the ACMs, Sheeran said that he would love to “transition to country,” praising its focus on great songwriting.  Sheeran lived in Nashville on/off between 2013 and 2018,
