Take a look at the video for Ariana Grande’s ‘The Boy Is Mine’

Ariana Grande arrives on the Red Carpet at the 2016 American Music Awards in Los Angeles^ California on November 20^ 2016 Microsoft Theater

The new video for Ariana Grande’s “The Boy Is Mine” features cameos from none other than Brandy and Monica, who performed the original hit single “The Boy Is Mine” together back in 1998. Their duet spent 13 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 after its release.

Brandy, 45, and Monica, 43, play news anchors in the video for Grande’s “The Boy Is Mine”, directed by Christian Breslauer. The clip shows Grande tuning in for a TV press conference from the city’s mayor, played by actor Penn Badgley, and concocting a love potion in her kitchen to win his heart. Once finished, she dons a catwoman-like suit and breaks into his apartment.

While Grande’s “The Boy Is Mine” is a completely different song from Brandy and Monica’s hit single, its title was clearly inspired by the track.  “The Boy Is Mine” is featured on Grande’s critically acclaimed new album Eternal Sunshine, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, her sixth chart-topping album. The album also features certified RIAA platinum hits “Yes, And?” and “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love),” which both singles also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Justin Timberlake was been released from police custody after being arrested for driving while intoxicated or impaired in the Hamptons, NY on Monday night.

PEOPLE reported that Timberlake, 43, appeared in court for his arraignment in handcuffs on Tuesday, and was released shortly afterward.  Law enforcement did not confirm Timberlake’s charges to the outlet, but sources told PEOPLE that the singer was pulled over while driving to his friend’s house after having dinner at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor, adding that “nobody was hurt.” NBC News reports that Timberlake claimed he had just “one martini” before he was pulled over; however, according to the complaint written by Sag Harbor Village police officer Michael Arkinson, once police spoke to Timberlake they said it was clear the motorist was not in any shape to drive. Police ascertained that Timberlake was “operating said vehicle in an intoxicated condition in that his eyes were bloodshot and glassy, a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emanating from his breath, he was unable to divide attention, he had slowed speech, he was unsteady afoot, and he performed poorly on all standardized field sobriety tests.”  Timberlake was then arrested on suspicion of impaired driving early Tuesday in the affluent Hamptons area of Long Island.

Timberlake, age 43, of Tennessee, was observed operating a 2025 BMW southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a duly posted stop sign and failing to maintain his lane of travel. A traffic stop was initiated by a Police Officer from the Sag Harbor Village Police Department and upon investigation it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition. Mr. Timberlake was placed under arrest, processed, and held overnight for morning arraignment. Mr. Timberlake was arraigned at the Sag Harbor Village Justice Court on June 18, 2024, at 9:30 AM where he was released on his own recognizance.”

Timberlake is currently on the road with his first tour in five years, the Forget Tomorrow World Tour, in support of his latest album, Everything I Thought It Was, which dropped on March 15. Carrie Underwood and family ‘unharmed’ after fire at their Tennessee haome

Mike Fisher^ Isaiah Fisher^ Carrie Underwood at the Carrie Underwood Star Ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on September 20^ 2018 in Los Angeles^ CA

Carrie Underwood and her family are “unharmed” after a fire was safely extinguished at their Tennessee home on Sunday night. Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, live at the remote home in Tennessee with their two sons — Isaiah, 9, and Jacob, 5.

According to local Nashville news outlet WKRN News 2, crews were dispatched to Underwood’s Williamson County property on June 16 after responding to a “fully-involved fire” in the garage that began around 9:40 p.m. Williamson County Fire Rescue stated that Station 21 was dispatched to a fire alarm in that district, with the call upgraded to a structure fire “almost immediately,” according to a post on Facebook that read: “crews from all eight of our stations responded. Fairview fire provided a tanker and crew as well.”

Williamson County Fire and Rescue spokesperson Dinah Wade confirmed to the Tennessean that firefighters were able to douse the fire fast thanks to a 10,000-gallon water tank that was already on the premises, and “were able to knock down the fire quickly to prevent spread into the house. Firefighters continue to put out hotspots to prevent further spread. The cause of the fire is under investigation. There are no injuries at this time.”  The fire appears to have been caused by an off-road UTV and spread into the garage, but authorities are still investigating to determine the exact cause.

A spokesperson for Underwood said in a statement: “there was a fire on the property on Sunday night, which was quickly contained. There was no fire damage to the primary residence, and the family and their pets were unharmed.”
