A few weeks after announcing the show’s release date, Netflix has now unveiled the official trailer for Season 3 of “You.”

The teaser opens with Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) in the hospital as Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) gives birth to their baby son. “In my history of scared, this is the most scared I’ll ever be,” the serial killer narrates. “I’ve always believed in The One, but being your dad is changing me… For you, I’d marry the monster. Your mother, Love,” he continues. The clip transitions to Joe meeting Natalie, whom he calls the new “you,” followed by footage of Love striking someone in the head. “I think we need to go to couples therapy,” she says on the phone. The trailer closes with a series of intense moments as the two get involved in yet another crime.

You Season 3 will premiere on Netflix on October 15.

‘The Real’ host Jeannie Mai expecting first child with husband Jeezy

‘The Real’ host Jeannie Mai announced on the show that she is expecting her first child with her husband, rapper Jeezy. The 42-year-old Mai shared: “I can definitely say that our Real fam is growing, and it’s been really hard to keep all of these secrets for you guys because we had so much to reveal at the show, including the fact that I am pregnant!” Mai and Jeezy met in 2018 when Jeezy was a guest on The Real. Mai has hosted the show since its premiere in 2013.

Mai had previously said in an interview with Women’s Health that she had a miscarriage prior to to her March wedding to Jeezy, and that the miscarriage made her wonder if she “was being punished” because she had never wanted to be a parent until last year. Mai said of her change of heart about having children: “Falling in love with Jeezy made me see life differently for myself. Our love is honest, pure, and safe… something I hadn’t felt as a child.”

Mai and Jeezy learned a week after their wedding that they had conceived again via in vitro fertilization (IVF). Jeezy also has three children, Jadarius, Shyheim and Amra, from previous relationships.

‘Sex & The City’ star Willie Garson dies at age 57

Actor Willie Garson, best known for his role in HBO’s ‘Sex and the City’, has died. He was 57. Garson died on Tuesday afternoon following a short illness; he was surrounded by family at the time of his death.

Garson played Stanford Blatch – the best friend of Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw — on the series, as well as its spinoff movies. He was set to appear in the upcoming reboot, ‘And Just Like That…’ and was photographed on the New York set of the spinoff with Parker and Mario Cantone, who played Garson’s on-screen husband Anthony Marentino. Cantone shared a tribute to Garson on Instagram, saying he is “devastated” by his costar’s death, writing: “I couldn’t have had a more brilliant TV partner. I’m devastated and just overwhelmed with Sadness. Taken away from all of us way soon. You were a gift from the gods sweet Willie. Rest …I love you.”

Garson’s son Nathen shared a tribute to his dad on Instagram, calling him “the toughest and funniest and smartest person I’ve known.” Along with photos of Garson, he wrote: “I love you so much papa. Rest In Peace and I’m so glad you got to share all your adventures with me and were able to accomplish so much. I’m so proud of you. I will always love you, but I think it’s time for you to go on an adventure of your own. You’ll always be with me. Love you more than you will ever know and I’m glad you can be at peace now. You always were the toughest and funniest and smartest person I’ve known. I’m glad you shared you’re love with me. I’ll never forget it or lose it ❤😘

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga to star in three new television specials; share new music video for “Love for Sale”

Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga will appear together for three new specials that will air on CBS, MTV and Paramount+.  The new deal ties in with Bennett and Gaga’s forthcoming album, ‘Love for Sale.’

The first TV special, ‘One Last Time: An Evening with Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett,’ will air Nov. 28 at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.  The concert special was filmed at two of Bennett and Gaga’s sold out shows at Radio City Music Hall in August.  The second, ‘MTV Unplugged: Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga,’ will air on MTV in winter of this year. The special was filmed earlier this summer in New York City and will feature a combination of duets and solo performances from ‘Love for Sale.‘ The third and final special is a new documentary titled ‘The Lady and the Legend,’ and will stream on Paramount+ in 2022. The documentary explores the making of Bennett and Gaga’s most recent album together and their 10-year friendship.

The duo also just shared the new music video for their latest single, ‘Love for Sale,’ which can be viewed here. The track will appear on the forthcoming Love for Sale album from Gaga and Bennett that will be released on Oct. 1. The project will be Bennett’s final studio recording of his career; Bennett and his family announced in February that the 95-year-old was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2016.

‘Schitt’s Creek’s Dan Levy signs Netflix deal for film and television

Schitt’s Creek co-creator and star Dan Levy has signed a new deal with Netflix. Netflix said in a press release that Levy, 38, will write and produce new film and TV projects for the streaming service.

Netflix head of global film Scott Stuber and Netflix head of global series Bela Bajaria said: “Dan Levy is an incredible all-around creative talent, who thoughtfully approaches every story with a meaningful perspective. His work on Schitt’s Creek charmed audiences around the world and we’re thrilled to partner and create new films and shows with Dan.” 

Levy’s first project will be an untitled romantic comedy film. Levy will write, direct and star in the film, as well as produce with Stacey Snider and Kate Fenske. Levy will begin work on his first TV series in July 2022.

73rd Primetime Emmy Awards: See the full list of winners

The 73rd annual Emmy Awards were held on Sunday night from Los Angeles, hosted by Cedric the Entertainer and airing live on CBS as well as streamed on Paramount+. The big winner of the evening was Netflix’s ‘The Crown’ winning the Best Drama honor and sweeping the acting categories. The Crown stars Olivia Colman, Josh O’Connor, Gillian Anderson and Tobias Menzies all took home the statuettes for Best Actress, Actor, Supporting Actress and Supporting Actor in a Drama. It also earned the Emmys for Best Writing and Directing for a Drama.

Apple TV+’s ‘Ted Lasso’ won for Best Comedy, with its stars Jason Sudeikis, Brett Goldstein and Hannah Waddingham winning in the Best Actor, Supporting Actor and Actress in a Comedy categories. Jean Smart was named Best Actress in a Comedy for HBO Max’s ‘Hacks,’ which also won for Best Writing and Best Directing for a Comedy.

Kate Winslet, Evan Peters and Julianne Nicholson from HBO’s ‘Mare of Easttown’ picked up the prizes for Best Actress, Supporting Actor and Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.  Netflix’s ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ won for Best Limited or Anthology Series, and Ewan McGregor won for Best Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie for Netflix’s ‘Halston’.

Chris Rock reveals Covid-19 diagnosis, urges fans to get vaccinated

Chris Rock revealed on social media Sunday that he has tested positive for Covid-19. “Hey guys I just found out I have COVID, trust me you don’t want this,” Rock tweeted Sunday. “Get vaccinated.”

Rock didn’t elaborate on his condition, but he had announced on The Tonight Show in May that he did receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. In an interview with Gayle King earlier this year (via Variety), Rock criticized those who did not want to get the vaccine, noting, “Let me put it this way: Do I take Tylenol when I get a headache? Yes. Do I know what’s in Tylenol? I don’t know what’s in Tylenol, Gayle. I just know my headache’s gone. Do I know what’s in a Big Mac, Gayle? No. I just know it’s delicious.”

Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings to host ‘Jeopardy!’ through 2021

Jeopardy! confirmed on its official Twitter account Thursday that actress Mayim Bialik, 45, and former champion Ken Jennings, 47, will fill in as hosts following Mike Richards’ exit for the remainder of 2021. The Twitter post read: “Not sure if you’ve heard but @missmayim and @kenjennings are hosting me until the end of the year. Everyone on the staff is supralunar.”

Sony Pictures Television said Bialik will host new episodes through Nov. 5, after which she and Jennings will “split hosting duties as their schedules allow.” Bialik was originally announced in August to host new Jeopardy! primetime specials and a potential spinoff series, and was later confirmed to guest host the regular game show in the wake of Richards’ departure. Jennings is a former Jeopardy! contestant who holds the record for the longest winning streak on the show and the highest winnings in regular season play. He previously guest hosted Jeopardy! following longtime host Alex Trebek’s death in November 2020.

Richards stepped down as the new permanent host of Jeopardy! in August following controversy over his past remarks. He later also exited the show as an executive producer.

Helen Mirren to host Harry Potter competition show ‘Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses’

WarnerMedia announced that Helen Mirren will host ‘Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses,’ a four-part competition series based on the J.K. Rowling books and movies which will premiere on Cartoon Network and TBS.

Mirren said she was happy to finally join the franchise, sharing in a statement: “I knew someday I’d get a Harry Potter role, and I’m so pleased to take part in the 20-year film celebration. The films inspired such enchantment and wonder for so many of us, and it will be such a treat to reignite that magic for the countless fans who continue to revel in this spellbinding world.”

WarnerMedia did not release details of the competition as of press time. 2021 marks the 20th anniversary of the first film adaptation, ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone.’ The seven books eventually became eight movies, with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows split into a two part finale.

Take a look at Jeremy Renner & Hailee Steinfeld in the trailer for Marvel’s Disney+ series ‘Hawkeye’

Marvel Studios has shared the trailer for its ‘Hawkeye’ series, which will air exclusively on Disney+.

In the trailer, the story unfolds during the holiday season and centers on Hawkeye’s burgeoning partnership with Kate Bishop, played by Hailee Steinfeld. Set sometime after the events of ‘Avengers: Endgame,’ the show also stars Vera Farmiga, Fra Fee, Tony Dalton, Zahn McClarnon, and Alaqua Cox among others.

To coincide with the release of the trailer, Marvel also shared a teaser poster for the show, saying: “This holiday season, the best gifts come with a bow.”

Hawkeye premieres Nov. 24, 2021 on Disney+. Watch the trailer at the link – here.
